User cancelled

Sometimes when i select a site and then want to enter the link it says "User cancelled". What does that mean?

Edit: It happens when i accidentally press Ctrl+C.

That means you cancelled the script. Generally speaking on terminal apps you can force stop it using that like with ALT + F4 on games.
