I don't see what you mean. The method signature is setText(String) in all versions of QtJambi. There is no additional integer parameter.
I also don't understand what you mean with "converting the table".

I added a TabWidget in the qt designer and set the column. When using uic to convert to java code, seTtext will have an extra integer parameter
