If the user wants to disable our plugin, here are the user's options:

Disable the plugin:

Causes 404 errors from the service worker doing (what appears to be) soft update checks
- Doesn't really cause any harm, but a little unsettling

Leave the plugin enabled but disable any UI components like auto-prompting and notify button:

Notification still goes out each time a post is created

So we need a disable mode to disable all UI components and auto posting.
