returns Internal server error. But it has a postcode. Is something else wrong with it?

I also just tried a street and a postcode:

Great North Road, N6 4LT

which also gets an error. Does sorting office have to have a number? It would be very useful if this could break up any address into parts such as street and postcode even if no numbers are given.

Currently the example of curl --data "address=10 Downing Street, London, SW1A 2AA" http://sorting-office.openaddressesuk.org/address gives internal error - is the service still running at all?

Not intentionally, but something might have fallen over. I'll take a look when I have time, but this is into the realm of no-official-support now :(
