Crash when playing the preview in Slackware 15.0 #5083
Comments
Thanks for the bug report! Can you try with different file types? For example, does it crash when adding a JPEG or PNG file to the timeline? |
It happens with all video files. Sometimes it even happens at startup without even importing any file. Anyway, the version 3.0 is now available on Slackbuilds (the semi-official package provider for Slackware) and with that one everything works. Here is the link for reference in case it can help other users: https://slackbuilds.org/repository/15.0/multimedia/openshot/ |
@amadvance Thanks for the additional info! So, it appears to be crashing while decoding video files. I would love if someone could capture a stacktrace using gdb.
|
This is a crash from gdb at startup, so even before importing any video. When running in gdb it always crashes at startup. The openshot 3.0.0 from Slackbuilds (the distro package) is still working fine.
