Compatibility with Real Time (Chat) applications ?

Hello everyone,

I discovered the project recenlty, i am very beginner. So sorry if the question looks irrelevant or stupid.

I tried the system today cross collab project ( Created a Fork one and uploaded some images and sound ).
The overall looks great and promising, however the completion time is quite terrible.

I tried to reduce image resolution / remove "upgrade", resizing, etc...

But i hardly get under 2 minutes for a 15 seconds .wav file.

Do you know if the system could be compatible with realtime applications ? Like chat / etc... ? HW microphone get the Audio, share it and get video answer with few seconds response time.

If you think so, i have some questions :

How to get optimal response time ?
What response time could we expect ?

Could it scale to thousand of usage in same time ?
