Reading the article you mention in the wiki (https://github.com/CriticalSecurity/paradox) confirmed my fears about the security of SWAN.
There is a very basic way to protect the access of the IP150 by passing it to a fixed ip address and not giving it the correct gateway.

Without gateway, no possibility to connect to it from the outside, you have to be on the local network for that.
My first tests are conclusive, so far I have not found any problem with PAI.
