Search stops working properly after viewing info of a codec

If I view info about a video codec, I can no longer search for video codecs until I close the app from the recents menu (but I can still search for audio codecs). The inverse is also true (audio instead of video). Steps to reproduce:

1. Open the app
2. Choose a tab (Audio/Video)
3. Tap on one of the codecs to view info about it
4. Go back
5. Search no longer works in that tab (but it does work in the other one)

Search not working means that I can type a search term but no matter what I do all of the results are still shown, i.e. they are not filtered.

Device info:

• Samsung Galaxy A52s 5G (SM-A528B/DS)
• Android 14 (April 1 2024 security patch)
