How to set custom subject and issuer attributes?

Is there a way to set custom attributes on the library? I found that if I set something custom I get Cannot get OID for name type 'X'.

The Name class seems to allow for extraNames. But during X509CertificateGenerator.create, there's nothing which allows one to specify this?

Something like this:

    const n = new x509.Name('X=lol', {
      X: '2.5.4.44'
    });
    await x509.X509CertificateGenerator.create({ subject: n });

The entire attribute set is 1 name.
