In order to avoid user errors and frustration, we need to block certain actions when offline. The admin mode for example requires a connection for all the actions, so we should just block it all together 👍

  • Grey out admin mode button, change caption to say that user needs to go online.
  • Grey out fields in the settings page that require online connection (nearly all, I think).
  • Grey out bug submission.
  • Lost of connectivity pushes you out of admin mode.

Maybe add a plane icon at the center of the menu bar ?
