User Story

As a user, I want to correspond with a digital therapist, so that I'm not subjected to inherently ableist, dogmatic practices.

Acceptance Criteria

Accepting Anger as a Valid Emotion

• Given a client with PTSD
  • When they express themselves angrily
    • Then the therapist does not attempt to first "calm" the client
    • And the thought process is humored
    • And resulting ideas are considered valid for exploration and critique

Accepting Suicide as a Valid Option

• Given a client with Depression
  • When they express a desire (not intent) to hurt themselves or others
    • Then the therapist does not treat it as an emergency situation
    • And the thought process is humored
    • And personal beliefs and values are respected
