Sunsetting (de)Motivator desktop

We have some important news to share with you regarding the future of our desktop application. After careful consideration, we have decided to sunset the (de)Motivator desktop app with the release of (de)Motivator 12. This decision was not easy, but it was necessary to ensure the security and quality of our service.

The desktop app has been facing some serious security issues that could compromise your data and privacy. We have been working hard to fix them, but we realized that the app is outdated and lacks many features that our users deserve. That's why we have been focusing on developing and improving our progressive web app (PWA), which offers a better user experience and more functionality.

The PWA is a web-based version of (de)Motivator that works on any device and browser. It has all the features of the desktop app, plus some new ones that we are excited to introduce to you soon. The PWA is also more secure, as it uses the latest encryption and authentication technologies. You can access the PWA from our website or install it on your device for offline access.

We understand that some of you may be disappointed by this announcement, and we apologize for any inconvenience this may cause. We appreciate your support and loyalty over the years, and we hope you will join us in embracing the PWA as the future of (de)Motivator. Note that the android and iOS ports will not be affected by this change.
