πŸ“Œ Summary

Improve Bokeh plots accessibility for blind and low-vision users and those that navigate the web through assistive techs such as screen readers and keyboards only.

πŸ“ Background

Currently, Bokeh plots are not screen-reader accessible, and their interactivity relies on point/touch interactions, thus making them unusable by keyboard-only users and those who depend on assistive technology.

This work item aims to improve the accessibility of bokeh plots for disabled users (for example, those with visual impairments, blind people, and others who rely on assistive technology, mainly screen readers).
