Java issue. Unable to type in fields #1561
Comments
Needed info:
But it's probably a qtwebkit issue. I didn't get it to run, either. |
This is how it looks to me: QupZilla (Application version: 1.9.0 (ce528cf), Qt version: 5.4.0, WebKit version: 538.1) This is how it looks in firefox 34.0.5: QtTestBrowser complains about missing java-plugin, so I was not able to test. |
QupZilla (Application version: 1.8.4, Qt version: 4.8.6, WebKit version: 537.21) gives the same result as with firefox, but as martok7 stated, it is not possible to insert anything into the fields. @pejakm: I guess, martok7 is on Qt-4.8.6 + Webkit 537.21. Did you try to reproduce this issue with qt-5.4? What is the result? |
Java applet doesn't load at all. Qt-5.4, plugins, java and javascript enabled. Tried both icedtea-web and Oracle's java. (Works on Opera, though.) |
Sorry, I forgot to add this info: Information about version |
@pejakm: O.k. I will open an upstream issue for this. |
Huh - I thought QtWebKit doesn't support Java at all? |
There is already an upstream issue for this, please see. |
@The-Compiler: Please see #1325 for a working java audio player. However, this one is opened in a new window. |
@JHooverman, sorry but you are wrong, this is not a java audio player! |
@cranes-bill: Of course, you are right! |
When I go onto one of the chats from http://www.addonchat.com, I am unable to type in the Username, and Password fields. You can test it here. http://www.addonchat.com/demo.html.
I am running Kubuntu 14.04 64 bit.
Thank you in advance
