Bei mir hängt sich der ESP32 SignalESP auf wenn die WIFI Verbindung abbricht .
Meine Lösung:

Bei Connection Loss Event -> Restart
20 Sekunden Connection Timeout
Bei Timeout -> Config Portal
60 Sekunden Configportal Timeout
Bei Config Portal Timeout -> Restart

Das ganze wiederholt sich bis eine erfolgreiche Verbindung zum Wifi hergestellt werden kann oder man sich auf das Config portal verbindet.
