When the voltage is not stabilized as currently in Model 3 the displayed CO2 concentration changes for a few minutes when the supply voltage changes. This may happen for instance by activating a fan. The concentration returns to a value close to the original value. This is probably due to an internal compensation routine in the MH-Z19B sensor.
It is unclear whether the option to use a stable supply voltage should be provided.
My impression is, that this behaviour is acceptable for the application as a room ventilation monitoring device during the pandemic.
