Tomcat installation

file:conf/server.xml XML:Connector@port

  • manager application
    • file:conf/tomcat-users.xml should be able to be readable
    • file:conf/tomcat-users.xml ( manager-gui, manager-script )

    • file:webapps/manager/META-INF/context.xml XML:Context/Valve@allow - maybe need to comment
    • check {TOMCAT_HOST}:{TOMCAT_PORT}/manager/html with your username/password

mvn  org.apache.tomcat.maven:tomcat7-maven-plugin:2.2:redeploy -Dmaven.test.skip -Dmaven.tomcat.url=http://{host}:8080/manager/text -Dtomcat.username=root -Dtomcat.password=root

  • httpd.conf

communication files between Tomcat & Apache ( url route, port to be listen ... )

  • mod_jk.conf
  • workers.properties
  • alias.properties

Issue

[INFO] I/O exception (java.net.SocketException) caught when processing request: Connection reset by peer: socket write error check "manager" application, username/password
