The Templates we need now

We need a bunch of feature templates for a mix of field data collection and desktop mapping (we call this pull down menu in QRiS Riverscape Mapping Templates:

Single Layer Templates (submenu)

Commands to create single feature class in single geopackage (these are just specific layers within a riverscape project)

• a. Valley Bottom Geomorphic Units (Tier 1) - polygons that represent active channel, active floodplain, inactive floodplain
• b. Structural Element Survey (Jams/Dams) - point or polyline
• c. Dam/Jam Complex - point or polygon count +/- count
• d. Thalweg network - polyline
• e. Centerline network - polyline (valley bottom, channel, active vb)
• f. Inundated extent - polygon
• g. Valley Bottom - polygon (non segmented)
• h. Junctions - points (confluences, difluences, channel heads)
• i. geomorphic units (Tier 3) - points or polygons (GU type) (lower priority)
• j. photos - point
• k. Cluer & Thorne Phase - polygon - polygon represents laterally active VB and upstream/downstream transitions between phase condition (lower priority)
• l. ZOI - polygon (lower priority)
• J. Riparian Extent - polygon (optional 0,1,2,3,4 for BRAT) (lower priority)
• K. Floodplain Accessibility (lower priority)
• L. Riverscape Segments - polygons - these will be imported into mask library later - Attributes name, integer topology
• M. Recovery Potential

Riverscape Project Templates (submenu)

Commands to create a collection of feature classes in single geopackage (these are the same as riverscape projects)

• RIM survey - (b, c, d, e, f, g)
• RH Principle 1 Survey - (a, e, g)
• Design (already done)
• As-Built (already done)
• Jam/Dam Structural Element Survey (b,c)
• BRAT Assessment (lower priority)
• Geomorphic Assessment (lower priority)
