Request: Update Alerts/Feature

Request: Create an automatic check to see if the installed version of Roo Cline is the same version as the Github main version. If it isn't, present a notification to install the latest version. If checks are an issue on github, perhaps upload onto another platform so as not to use too many checks p/h?

I have no idea how technical this is, or whether it's feasible but I continuously check for updates manually and thought it would be a cool feature to have, even if it just alerts me at first then eventually can update itself with permission. (Please be kind, I'm a novice coder and new to how this all works. Sorry if my idea isn't feasible. Also, thank you for creating an amazing piece of software!)

Edit: Looks like in VSCode it automatically checks for updates and tried to keep itself updated. Not certain how to delete this, so I guess it's staying for now? Thanks again and sorry for the already added feature recommendation.
