Far Cry 5 field of view

The solution increases the maximum field of view limit of 120 in the game and removes the FOV decrease at all interactions. It also removes the FOV limitations specific to 21:9 and wider resolutions. As a bonus for convenience as to not have to use other solutions, it removes the black bars from the cutscenes at 21:9 and wider.

1. Download the archive below.
2. Unpack the files to the \bin\ folder inside the game directory.

To uninstall, simply remove or move the files.

Tested on the latest Steam version at 1920x1080, 2560x1080 and 5760x1080.

Tunic ultrawide and wider

The small patcher removes the black bars from the game at 21:9 and wider. Compared to the manual solution shared on Steam, there's no need to know your aspect ratio in bytes and it also fixes the UI scaling, which may be crucial the wider it gets from 16:9.

For the latest game version on any platform, using the GOG.Steam.more patcher included below is sufficient. The second step of the Game Pass patcher is obsolete. Right-click the patcher to Run as administrator if facing any access issues.

Tested on the latest Microsoft Store and GOG versions at 2560x1080 and 5120x1440. Tested externally on Steam.

The patcher for ultrawide and wider addresses the lack of resolution options and corrects the UI scaling which resulted in cropping at 21:9 and caused the game to be unplayable at 32:9 and wider.

The tool removes the black bars that appear in the game at 21:9 and wider resolutions. Unfortunately, the background images and some of the other assets of the game are intended for 16:9 and do not have enough width to span, so there is not going to be anything to fill the void in the affected areas.

The tool removes the black bars from the cutscenes and corrects their field of view reduction.* It also allows to see and control the field of view at any resolution in real time.

1. Go to \Sifu\Binaries\Win64\ in the game folder and rename the Sifu-Win64-Shipping.pdb debug file to Sifu-Win64-Shipping.pdb.bak or remove the file altogether to prevent heavy use of system resources (redo after a game update).
2. Download the tool archive at the bottom of this page and unpack it.
3. Launch the game, followed by the tool.
4. Press the keys as shown.
