I'm running a matrix with ~40,000 columns in GetMatrixSLice and the GUI is practically unusable because its so slow. Slows down the rest of SCIRun GUIs as well.

With the module GUI closed, the performance is not otherwise affected. The attached test network shows slowdown with 10-20k columns.
