Recommended user for SFCC production deployment

I'm currently using my own account and created access keys for our sandbox deployment of the connector, but was wondering if anyone had any guidance on how we should approach the production deployment.

Do we need an account manager based account for this or can we create a user directly in business manager and create access keys? Beyond setup are these keys even needed? From what I can tell after the project is deployed everything is API based and these access keys are no longer needed?

The Access Key used for the setup is the one you configure in the .env file and used by the command lines.
This one is not used by B2C Commerce or Core during the API exchanges.

The only BM User / Access key generation need is regarding any Shop API calls done by the Core Platform (OOBO flow, Password Reset flow, Active Customer Promotions flow).
If you are not using these, then there is no need to have a BM User created and an access key generated for this user.
