Absolute beginner: Cannot build the project (error MSB4236) #293

Hi,
Absolute C# & Visual Studio beginner here. I cloned the repo, downloaded & installed .net 6.0 and tried to build it as suggested by Sebastian. However, this fails as apparently the .net SDK is not found.

Sorry my IDE is in German but the error message says "the SDK Microsoft.NET.Sdk was not found"
("error MSB4236: Das angegebene SDK "Microsoft.NET.Sdk" wurde nicht gefunden")

Any help is much appreciated!

This issue suggests updating from VS2019 to VS2022. Will try that.

Updating to VS2022 did not change anything for me but building via command line worked. See this issue for details: #85
