Sometimes you want to use different temperatures on different infusions. It would be nice if one could specify that in addition to the steeping time.

I don't do this very often personally. Usually only when experimenting to find the optimal temperature for the tea or sometimes to get some more flavor out of the last infusion. What's the reason you do it?

Some thoughts on the implementation:

  • there wouldn't be a default temperature of for each tea anymore
  • the tea "cards" could display a range of temperatures, if necessary
  • when creating a new tea, the first infusion would require defining the temperature, the next ones would have the same on as a default
  • unclear: how to display the temperature for the current/next infusion when brewing

Nowadays I use the app only for teas with longer steeping times such as Sencha, Gyokuro, Silver Needle, Hou Kui and the rest I brew instinctively.

I think a good example for this feature request is Gyokuro. A workaround I find good enough for this rarity is by having it in the subtitle/comment "50/50/50/70/80 °C". It's visible well enough juest below the tea title.
