Please add 1.18 and support as my server no longer works as of today because there is no support for it.

Why?

Because of the new security bug I am forced to put my server on 1.18.1 and there is no support for it. Please add support for it!

you don't need to upgrade to 1.18 to mitigate CVE-2021-44228 (log4shell).

just add the JVM argument -Dlog4j2.formatMsgNoLookups=true and you'll be safe (this is the recommendation Mojang has given for 1.17 servers here).

apparently, that argument is no longer considered sufficient. you can instead remove the jdnilookup class from your jars. there are some automated tools to do that, for example CVE-2021-44228-Scanner though I haven't used it myself.

It's probably more convenient in the long run to quote the message here:

Skript and Minecraft 1.18
As some of you may already know Minecraft 1.18 will be out soon (Nov 30th), and Spigot already has a pre-release out.
That said, as usual, our team will be working when we can to get a release of Skript out that works on MC 1.18. As of right now, Skript 2.6 throws an error on Spigot 1.18 which causes Skript to not load (this is due to a change in NMS that Spigot made) I have done a PR that needs to be reviewed that will fix this issue and help Skript run.

There is no tentative date for when an update of Skript for MC 1.18 will be released. As always, it'll get done when we can get it done.

Im including a build of Skript 2.6 that has this fix, along with the update biomes for MC 1.18. This is NOT an official build of Skript. Do keep in mind, there may be bugs, but this may not be a Skript issue, this may be a Spigot issue (ex: I noticed right now you cant change biomes, this is a Spigot issue -- EDIT: This specific issue was recently fixed by Spigot) If you are reporting bugs on our issue tracker, please make sure it is actually a Skript issue first before reporting.

Again, this build is NOT an official build, but rather a build I am putting out, so people can continue testing, and getting prepared for MC 1.18 servers

Note: This build MAY not work on MC versions below 1.18. That said, there are no changes to this build other than a fix for 1.18, so if you're running anything lower, dont use this build!
