or_replace = false for snowflake_view not working as expected

Hello, I recently started using this provider and it's been great. Today I was attempting to create a view that did not exist yet in snowflake. After the view was created I assumed that I would be able to alter the view via snowflake and then not have the statement from snowflake_view override the changes I made to the view via snowflake. Am I misunderstanding what or_replace = false is doing here?
