Applying armor has been on my roadmap for some time, now, and I've refrained from implementing it for a simple reason: not all armor applies to all damage. A psychic attack, for instance, wouldn't be affected by a chain mail. In the same vein, you could have an artifact that provides 5 armor but only against, say, fire damage.
That being said, realistically, most armor will apply to most damage. Do you think this would be acceptable?
Armor apply to all attacks on might (unless its something the gm created) but i think a good solution is a field maybe a multiple select so choose the types of damage covered by the armor.
When subtracting health from token apply the armor reduction to subtract less
