Welcome to the nRF24-Esk8-Remote wiki!

The construction of the remote can be divided into three different processes.

  1. Enclosure and inner mechanism
  2. Electronics
  3. Software

Enclosure and inner mechanism

The remote enclosure and inner mechanism consist of five different 3D-printed parts, a few bolts, and a spring. All 3D-printable parts for the remote can be found on Thingiverse.

Electronics

The main electronics of the remote are an Arduino Nano, a nRF24 transmitter, and a Hall Effect sensor. The electronics are powered by a lithium polymer battery with a nominal voltage of 3,7V and a capacity of 400mAh. To charge the battery and boost the voltage to 5V, two separated boards are used.

A list of all items needed to build the remote can be found here https://goo.gl/EXNYyZ

Software

All software to the remote is ready to use and easy to install by using the Arduino IDE.
