We actually already have the possibility to create password protected polls. However the password protection is not yet enforced.

What is missing:

indicator in poll list that poll is password protected (e.g. bootstrap glyphicon-lock)
password request on attempt to open password protected poll (e.g. through popup)
maybe hash the password for a poll - it is currently saved in clear text
