The current schematic shared by the people from Charite is made in Eagle, which is a fine CAD softwrae for electronics but it is proprietary and we don't have a lot of use experience with it.
Given that there are tools to convert Eagle schematics to KiCad, it would be in order to do so. This way it will be easier to create PCBs and modify/adapt things as needed.
Eventually we would like to move this design to the BeeHive Repertoire.
