Describe the bug
in small screens, the input field at the bottom of the page is squashed and cannot see what is typed

To Reproduce
Steps to reproduce the behaviour:

  1. Go to f12
  2. change to a small size window
  3. Scroll down to see the squashed input field

Expected behavior
can type even on small screens

Additional context
can be solved after a major layout change is done
