At the moment, blocks such as "Post List" won't load without a featured image attached to a post

All our templates require a featured image. Can we make this not required?

@stevejburge can you please confirm that this issue isn't fixed. I removed image from the textarea and the blocks still loads on the post, also the post has no featured image itself. if it's still an existing bug, please kindly walk me through how to reproduce it.
