For that test, Wikipedia is helpful: "The typical reference range is between 30 seconds and 50 s (depending on laboratory). Shortening of the PTT is considered to have little clinical relevance, but some research indicates that it might increase risk of thromboembolism.[3]" We have the term HP:0003645-prolonged partial thrombinplastin time. I don't know if we want a shortened PPT based on this. |
