TiddlyFox appears 'greyed out' in Firefox 53.0.2 (android)

TiddlyFox appears 'greyed out' in Firefox 53.0.2 (on android, oxygen os 4.1.3 android 7.1.1).
In addition, I do not appear to be able to get Firefox to load a local html file unless I navigate to it from file:///sdcard/ which I believe is a Firefox Issue but worth noting!
Once open I do not appear to be able to use TiddlyFox to save changes to the same file, it always creates a new one.

I have the same issue.

According to the Play Store I have FF version 54.0.1 installed. When I add the TiddlyFox extension it shows up in my Add-ons list, but it is greyed out and I am unable to tap on "enable".

I have tried restarting FF and restarting my device.

Older versions of TiddlyFox is listed as incompatible with the version of FF installed.

I've experienced the exact same thing as @getack describes.
Test with Firefox 53 & 55 on Android (cyanogenmod).

I'm in the same boat. I would really like to be able to continue to use my DropBox based TW on my Android. Hoping for a fix or work around soon.
