Having to write their names in a huge text filter is dumb. Maybe some kind of filter item you can put into the filter? It should store a single chest worth of items.

Instead of a separate item you insert, it will just open the chest inventory inside the chest filter.

I think I meant when configuring the filter, you just get a chest worth of empty slots that you can fill with ghost-items, without the need to fill some ExUtils-like filter item first.

What I think you are thinking of is this mods item. https://www.curseforge.com/minecraft/mc-mods/essentials

its called the slotted chest. Essentially has ghost items, https://puu.sh/EsiRo/01df5ebdde.png, so that way you can take a full stack out, but still have the order in the chest. I think that is something along the lines of what you are thinking of.
