The example Master's thesis title page linked from the ETD Formatting Guidelines demonstrates what is specified in the text, that the Chair is not identified on the title page, while remaining on the abstract, for Master's thesis submissions.
List committee members’ first and last name only (middle name/middle initial if preferred). The exception is for your committee chair, who will be designated as Chair on the title page for PhD students (see template).
Currently there does not appear to be a way to make this distinction and I will likely end up commenting it out directly. However, this would be something worth adding in the future.
