[3.3.1] Crash when I save gcode file, project... #3794
Comments
Hi @SMJ33160 , thank you for reporting this. Is it possible to share your user directory folder with us, so we can try to reproduce your issue? Thanks C:\Users<username>\AppData\Roaming\cura |
Hi, Sorry to be so late... you'll find my user directory in the zip file Thanks, |
Mine crashes as well. I can seem to get it to crash a lot of the time by putting the model under the build plate. I.e. reducing the z value below 0. When I am dont printing I will find a thingaverse model that causes it and let yall know. |
It doesn't crash when I try it with your cura.zip folder 😕 I tried:
Seems to work fine. I'm testing this on Cura 3.3.1 on Windows 8.1. |
Mine does the same thing, but my model is more complex. I can do it in the Beta version for Ubuntu 18.10 no problem. I only encounter this issue in Windows 10. Perhaps try loading a more complex model for testing purposes. You may be able to reproduce the issue. |
I tried this again (on 3.3.1) with more complex models. It doesn't want to crash. We're going to need something more to figure out how to reproduce the issue. Does it still occur in more modern versions of Cura? |
Same here on a Chuwi Lapbook Air with same CPU/GPU as in initial post, Cura 3.6, Windows 10 1809 Pro Crash on every save operation. Works well on 10yo ASUS Laptop with Core2Duo T9900 and Geforce 9650GT Also curious: Celeron N3450 and Core2Duo T9900 shall have comparable performance, slicing same model takes 10s on T9900 but 5 Minutes on N3450. Tried 3 different graphic driver revisions for N3450 with same result |
Is this the same as #4016? Could you please try the workaround? |
yes, I think so, got this confirmed in another forum and switching off feedback solves this issue |
