Blocking issue for 4.9.0 release: Failure in tests tst_ncdap3.sh and tst_remote3.sh on MacOS. This appears to be reflected in the one-off CI tests on Github Actions, now; not sure how this crept in, unless it was a change on the remote server. However, the tests run correctly on Linux VMs on the same machine.

Ran git bisect, looking at this now.

  • First known failure in tst_ncdap3.sh: 375e5ad

Issue located and tentatively fixed. Testing fix PR now.
