In case anyone is interested, I have attached the Gerber files for a flat ribbon cable adapter PCB which I had made by JLCPCB in China. I am pretty good at sourcing parts, but couldn’t find any such adapter being sold. The custom PCB cost me about $6 USD with shipping to USA. If you order from them, select Economy Shipping on your order. Economy for me was only about $3.50 USD. Expedited shipping costs are much more than that. PCB was delivered to me in less than 3 weeks.
Parts required:
Custom PCB, IDC flat ribbon cable Adapter
FC-20P flat ribbon cable with female connectors installed both ends, 20 pin, 2.54 pitch, 20cm long

The 20cm flat ribbon cable is slightly too long, but I couldn’t find a 15cm long cable at reasonable price.
Display’s Flat Ribbon Cable, as Manufactured
Removed display module from oven, then remove the hot glue by releasing it's bonding with isopropyl rubbing alcohol from cotton swab.
Used a solder sucker to clean up display module, then on to assembly of the PCB adapter. Soldered adapter to the display module.
Display now ready to reinstall in the oven.
Final Installation, and tested good.
