fastdownload not working

I seem to have a problem with fastdownload since the lastupdate. I have one more guy that says he also have the same problem. Its not working.

Can somebody help me confirm this?

What does not working mean? There is #74 that causes a problem if the server 404's, and other bug if the servers download url starts with a numeral.

I connect and i download slow. My guess Im downloading from the server not using the fastdownload. :P

No errors in console.
No numbers in the url.

Set "developer 1" and try the download again, it tells you if it is using the url download or the slowever in server one.

It prints out items about downloading from URL's if the server has fast download enabled, if you don't see it then I suspect the server doesn't have it.

My server has fastdownload it worked PERFECTLY before the update now it doesn't at all.
I think ppl with fastdownload need to change their directory on HTTP FastDL to cstrike_downloads? am I right, alfred?

No, they don't need to change the download folder @monster1777 . There is a bug when the download url starts with a number, that will be fixed by a steam client update shortly.

Closing out, make sure you set a valid download url for your server, not some poor buggers random website :)
