I used to play a ton of Half Life 1 mods on my older Windows 7 PC without Raw Input enabled. I had completely removed Mouse Acceleration from my PC's registry so I could play with that turned off and specifically avoid this rotation lock issue where the input stops when the mouse cursor reaches a side of the screen.

After upgrading to Windows 10, I noticed that ingame mouse input with Raw Input off is extremely jittery and almost unplayable at times. Think of it like the input jumping frames randomly and sensitivity being janky as well. Raw Input fixes this luckily, but it also introduces the Rotation Lock issue.

Is there something I can do on my end to either fix the jittery input with Raw Input off or maybe modify something in the mod's files to enable proper Raw Input without the rotation lock issue?
Thanks c:

Here is an example mod released on 9th May 2018 with the Raw Input rotation lock issue: https://www.moddb.com/mods/half-life-randomizer

Hello @TacticalBooger, the issue with Raw Input enabled is already being tracked at #1377. Let's use this issue report to track the stuttering input.

Sounds good to me. It would actually be better to track down a solution to the jittery aim without raw input enabled as mouse acceleration can easily be removed from Win 10 as well and mods that don't support raw input can just have raw input off.
