Troubleshooting

I do not see any changes.

  • Is the game supported?
  • Is your device supported?
  • Are you using Dolphin 5.0-15214 or newer?
  • Are custom textures active?
    • Open Dolphin, enter Graphics > Advanced tab > Check Load Custom Textures.
  • Is everything installed correctly?
    • This pack must be placed in the Dolphin's Load directory not in the Textures folder.
The path should look like this .\Load\DynamicInputTextures not .\Load\Textures\DynamicInputTextures!
    • then Dolphin will generate the textures under \Load\Textures\#Generated_<Game Name>.
if the folder exists, please read the section I See ? Buttons.
  • Are you using controller profiles?
    • Remove any controller profiles from the game specific User Config, set the desired controller profile as the default for Dolphin, then start the game. This should then create the required game-specific custom-textures. Once working, you can revert the User Config change as well as the default controller profile.

I See ? Buttons.

This means that your controller is not recognised or the button cannot be assigned.

  • InputSyntax is not possible, only individual buttons are recognised.
  • The controller is not port_1 for GC or Wiimote_1 for Wii? Check Controller settings.
  • If you use BetterJoy, DS4Windows or any other DSUClient you have to name them correctly.
  • Your device is not supported?
  • You have several controllers?
    • Currently only the first one is supported! Use "XInput/0/Gamepad" not "XInput/1/Gamepad"

Dolphin closes when I try to start my game.

Probably the pack is faulty, report the pack with the controller used.

Contact us if you can't find the problem.
