About Quanta

Quanta is an Open Source Hierarchical Content Management and Messaging Platform.

Content text, images, and other file attachments can be organized on a tree (hierarchy), edited, published, shared, etc. Communicate with other users by editing a common tree structure in a system that's a powerful hybrid between Social Media, Messaging, and Content Management System (CMS).

Quanta uses the "block editor" approach to document editing, which means individual blocks of content (called Nodes) make up all of the data. Platforms using block editors are becoming very popular, and include for example: Notion, Jupyter Notebooks, and WordPress Gutenberg.
