@DanielnetoDotCom Doing some tests with the VideoOffline plugin.
1- I don't understand the purpose of reconverting all videos... this seems like a problem to me, as I have almost 300 videos.
2- I verified that the files are being saved on my local server, and I use the YPTStorage Plugin to not keep the files on the same local server... how will this work? I didn't find this information on the wiki.

Is a new directory created for an existing video?
AVideo/videos/linkvideo_240430170211_v42d2/linkvideo_240430170211_v42d2_HD_offline.mp4'

I am not sure why you are trying to get a linkvideo offline

this supposed only to be used in a video that you are self hosting.

and yes, to be able to have a video offline feature it will require some extra space in your server

I just ran the convertVideo.commandLine.php command as explained in the wiki.
He started re-encoding all the videos.
My doubt still persists....

  • The Offline system cannot use the existing MP4? What is different about this new file created?
  • My videos are not on the local server but on the storage through the YPTStorage Plugin, do these new video files created go there too?

it needs to use a specific resolution and file name

I am not 100% but I guess it will not

@DanielnetoDotCom Danny, I'm still unsure about how the integration of the YPTStorage and VideoOffline Plugins works.
Ok, VideoOffline needs a specific resolution and file name... but it needs to work together with YPTStorage, otherwise it will be impossible to use and acquire both plugins.
