This has to do with "display super-scaling"

WORKAROUND (win11):

  1. Close any instances of Enlighten
  2. Set display scale to 100%
  3. Run Enlighten
  4. Set display scale back to normal (300%)

Possible cause:
Connecting an external monitor (virtually in my case via Parallels).

Sometimes the opposite issue presents itself: the text is jumbo
(the same workaround still works)
