Welcome to the Workflow wiki!
Workflow was born out of frustration of non standardised local environments. Utilising Docker it offers a strongly opinionated way of running certain projects such as Magento 2.
It's distributed as a single binary with everything packaged inside - this means you do not need PHP, Composer, Node etc installed on your machine.
It's still very much Beta software but holds itself well under daily use.
