Steam movement stuttering and blurry text

Description

Steam movement is very stuttery and the text is blurry.

Steps to reproduce

1. Install Whisky
2. Install steam in whisky
3. see that the window is stuttering and the text is blurry

Expected behaviour

on a previous install, steam was perfectly functional and did not stutter and text was very legible
