I've been building and using an auto-calculating spreadsheet up until now for my mesocycles, but I've been looking into this app for my next mesocycle!
The only thing I'd like to be added before I feel confident about switching to MyFit is the ability to do my workouts on different days of the week when necessary without having to change the scheduling of the whole mesocycle (i.e. doing my Wednesday workout on Tuesday instead as I may have something planned for Wednesday) -- I haven't found a way to do that in the app currently.

For your particular use case, the app doesn't really have a concept of "days" per se, you can miss workouts, they'll still be available on the next day. You can even "Mark rest days as complete", on a day, and do the next workout on the same day. The upcoming workout is solely decided on the workouts done till now in the mesocycle, NOT the specific day of the week or time passed since last workout.
You can do your Tuesday workout, save it, and then do your Wednesday workout immediately after, or later in the day. Skip Wednesday since you had something planned, and then go back on Thursday and perform your Thursday workout.
I intentionally did it that way to avoid kind of deter users and myself from skipping workouts. I see that it was an incomplete decision and it should be up to the user to decide. I won't be able to implement the feature of doing workout in a random order since entire app of v2 depends on workouts being performed in a specific order. I'll fix this in v3, but that'll take some time, should be done by April.
