1. Features

A complete documentaion and explanation of the adjustments and extensions can be found at https://wilkware.de/ip-symcon-skins/. Here is a brief list of the adjustments:

  • Fix different hight of the boxes for variables
  • Set width of slider to max 120 pixel to be independently form text length
  • Set the min width of a button to 29 pixel for a better grid layout
  • Own login logo (only if you use the skin as a standard login skin)
  • Notification messages are displayed with white text on an orange background
  • Dialogues are more central and transparent, i.e. they no longer cover the menu bar and are coloured according to the skin (no longer simply black)
  • The distances between the widgets on the right of the menu bar have been reduced
  • Scrollbars are shown on the PC (Google Chrome) very reduced (narrow) so that the layout does not shift
  • Predefined table styles (Olive, Blue, Orange, Dark, Light and Lines) are provided. In addition, there are simple predefined styles for left, right and centre aligned columns.
  • Color picker only via color box and not via brush icon
  • Profile selection dialog higher for more values without scrolling

3. Compatibility

Skin for IP-Symcon was developed and tested with the following version:

  • IP-Symcon 6.x (any version)
  • IP-Symcon 7.x (any version)

The compatibility with versions prior to IP-Symcon 5.0 should be given, but has not been tested!

4. Installation

  1. Open IP-Symcon Managment Console
  2. Open your instance (path in DE: "Objektbaum > Logische Baumansicht > Konfigurator Instanzen")
  3. Go to configuration > view (2nd tab) (path in DE: "Konfiguration > Darstellung")
  4. Click button "configure" ("Skin: Konfigurieren")
  5. Click add and enter this URL: https://github.com/wilkware/WwxSkin
