Questions

Navigation and interface:

  • We have assumed that we need to include a button to help visitors navigate to emergency response help? Should this be included and what contact number should this button be connected to? Does an emergency need to be broken down further to police, shelter, emergency medecine, other?
  • We have assumed that the user will search on 1-2 categories of needs at a time. If there are additional needs the user can navigate home and launch a new search. Is this in line with your thinking?

Localisation:

  • Are we allowing automatic localisation (GPS) or does a person need to manually enter country / city and then can choose where they are which data KonnaConnect wants to collect (name, gender, age, time spend using an app, questions, all?
  • We have assumed that people want to search for the information they need through big relevant images rather than text or speech, is this in line with your user research?
  • We have assumed that A direct booking or appointment link can speed up the process for the refugee and the agency supporting needs but that this is not necessary for now

Local Context:

  • We have assumed that fonts/colors need to be adjusted to using smaller phones. Do we have an idea of the most popular phones in the local market?
  • Are there other words that could resonate with the local population for needs better than those below: Social Protection (pop-up screen with i) Shelter (pop-up screen with i) *The list of NGOs offering support list their services under a total of 7 focus areas. Sometimes these focus areas are quite different. Should we consider that all focus areas are equally important in terms of service delivery to the vulnerable?
  • How many organizations do we expect to integrate into the app? There are currently 65, do we expect others? Has the number of local support organizations growing recently? In general how often are new associations found/added?
  • Is there a standard intake process and eligibility form for services/support for the various organizations offering support? If so, what is the process and can the eligibiliy be shared or is it related to the target groups?

What is important to KonaConnect:

  • which data is important for KonnaConnect to collect (name, gender, age, time spend using an app, questions, all?)

Mapping:

  • We have mapped the 8 primary user needs to the SDGS and high level categories of help provided. For example we mapped food/shelter to access to resources, access to food, improve agricultural products, sustainable food, and alimentation. Is this how you would envision the navigation?
